Dr. Wendell Bedsole

Doctor Bedsole trained at the UAB School of Optometry at the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. After completing training, he served as a Naval Aviator and Optometrist in the United States Navy until he opened his private practice in 1988 in Pell City. Doctor Bedsole is a past-president of the Pell City Rotary Club. He is also a supporter of the Lion's Club Vision Conservation Program. Doctor Bedsole continues to serve in the Air Force Reserves in the 908th Air Wing at Maxwell Air Force Base. He is a member of the American Optometric Association,  Alabama Optometric Association, Armed Forces Optometric Society.

He and his wife Pamela have two children, Anna and Jim.  Residents of Cook Springs.
